First book by this author, and it won’t be my last. Loved the writing style, and quirky wit. These two were besties growing up until middle school aka junior high, when he moved on to hang out with the popular kids….and relentlessly picked on her. Fast forward, and he comes back and wants the curvy girl he left behind. I thought it spoke of what a great person she is to give him a chance after everything that happened, personally second chances are never my thing, throw in the hormones of high school, and that is really not my thing. Despite him not being my preference, he was absolutely smitten with her, as he should be. He knew he wanted her as soon as he was back in town.

Lots of chemistry, cute second chance romance, with a side of naughty. There was an ex trying to cause trouble, but he shut that down right away. No drama for this guy and the object of his affection. Epilogue and a much deserved hea. Definitely will be reading more Kat Baxter books, so cute.

What a beautiful enemies to lovers (kinda)/childhood friends story. These two were so freaken hot that I’m surprised my fingers didn’t get singed as I swiped the pages on my kindle. I mean, wowza!! Kat Baxter, once again, wrote an amazing story with delicious characters... and I am definitely going to be re-reading this one. Totally the perfect holiday read.
